Manning Speaking at Graves County Fundraiser

Peyton Manning followed Tim Tebow to Denver, and now he's following him to Graves County.  The Broncos' quarterback will be the featured speaker at Graves County High School's Eagle Foundation fundraiser next April. 

Last April, the foundation brought former Bronco and now New York Jets quarterback Tebow in for the program.  The nonprofit foundation is made up of parents and community, business and education leaders who raise money to help cover education and facility needs of students in the local schools.  The second annual Night with a Champion will be April 20th.

Lowes Couple Arrested for String of Burglaries

The Graves County Sheriff’s Department has charged two people in connection to multiple county burglaries dating back to February. Police arrested 41-year-old John Hale and 33-year-old Angela Hale of Lowes this week, and charged them with 16 burglaries and thefts.

Kentucky 2nd District House Republican Candidates Speak on WKY Economic Growth

Western Kentucky’s economic growth is a hot topic among the candidates for the 2nd district State Representative. At a public forum in Graves County last night, Republican candidate Patrick Fisher said stimulating business in the region is going to take both self-improvement and effective networking with outside businesses.
