Paducah Parks Services continues their RIVERfront Concert Series tonight with performances by local group Gideon's Rifle (also WKMS Battle of the Bands winner) and Nashville-based group Humming House. Both are five-piece bands that complement each other in terms of style and energy, says Special Events Coordinator Molly Tomasallo. She speaks with Tracy Ross on Sounds Good about tonight's concert in downtown Paducah.

Bands convene at Carson Park this Saturday (April 21) for an Earth Day Concert benefiting recycling in Paducah.  The event seeks to bring the community together to help plant sunflowers, which will bloom in July/August. Tracy Ross speaks with David Nickell of West Kentucky Community and Technical College for a preview.
