MurrayState kicked off its 88th football season Saturday on the road with a 69 to 3 loss to Number 7-ranked Florida State in Tallahassee.  It was the first meeting between the two teams.  The Racers will return next Saturday for their home opener against Central Arkansas at Roy Stewart Stadium.  Kick-off time is 6 p.m.

OVC football coaches and information directors have picked Murray State to finish third in the conference this season, behind Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State.
