The 40th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival at Grand Rivers is this Saturday through Monday at Little Lake Park. The festival features nearly one hundred craft booths and artisans from seven states. The annual Homecoming for former residents of the Stewart County portion of what is now known as Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area is this Sunday at the Bison Range Picnic Area. The picnic area is located south of The Homeplace on the Trace. All former residents, relatives, and friends are invited. Bring food, beverages, lawn chairs, and any other picnic or recreation items. 

The Yeiser Art Center in Paducah offers a free yoga class in the gallery with instructor Phillip Bibb tonight. Yoga for all levels is from 5 to 6, and yoga for those already practicing is from 7 to 8:30. The class is limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-serve basis. More at

An exhibit titled "What Women Wore" is on display this semester at the Austin Peay State University Mabel Larson Gallery. The collection of over twenty pieces showcases American women's fashion from the period of the 1820s to the 1930s. Playhouse in the Park holds auditions for the musical “Catch Me If You Can” tonight at 6. There are principal roles with heavy singing and dancing requirements for four males and eight females, plus several ensemble parts. The minimum age for auditioning is 14. Dress comfortably and prepare one minute of a jazz-style tune if interested in a principal role. The show is October 15 through the 25th.
