The Graves County Adult Learning Center is offering citizenship classes at the Skilled Craft Training Center near Mayfield. Classes meet Wednesdays at 6. The free classes are taught in English and are for individuals who are eligible to obtain citizenship in the US or who would like to begin studying for citizenship. No registration is required.
Murray State’s English and Philosophy Department presents the Mojave poet Natalie Diaz Thursday, February 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Clara Eagle Gallery of Doyle Fine Arts near 15th and Olive in Murray. An Old Dominion MFA graduate, Ms. Diaz played professional basketball in Europe and Asia between degrees. She is the author of the 2012 collection: When My Brother Was an Aztec.
