A joint investigation by the Graves and McCracken County sheriff’s offices has led to a seizure of 63 firearms and three arrests.

The search of 55-year-old Ronald Andrews’ home in the Boaz community of Graves County also yielded marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Former Madisonville Teacher Faces Sodomy Charges

A Florida man faces charges of having sex with a minor when he was a teacher at Madisonville's Browning Springs Middle School.

Police arrested twenty-four-year-old Samuel Yardley Hann for sex and related communications with a fourteen-year-old student earlier this month.

Kentucky State Police say a serious crime took place every two minutes and 38 seconds in 2011. The agency's annual Crime in Kentucky report released this month shows more than 290,000 arrests were made last year.
