Brian Heller is the new director of the Clemens Fine Arts Center at WKCTC in Paducah. Moving from Wisconsin where he was the executive director of a community non-profit performing arts center, Heller says it's a welcome change moving to a higher education institution. He speaks with Tracy Ross on Sounds Good about his time so far in western Kentucky and how he first learned of Paducah.

After 29 years at West Kentucky Community and Technical College, Gail Robinson Butler is retiring tomorrow from her position as Director of the Clemens Fine Arts Center. She stops by Sounds Good today to reminisce with Kate on her impactful career and many enjoyable experiences. 

Paducah School of Art's Annual Faculty Exhibition

Paducah School of Art and Design Director Paul Aho visits Sounds Good today. Its 2013 Annual Faculty Exhibition opens with a reception Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Clemens Gallery on campus at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. Paul gives a preview of the exhibition and reception and how it factors into a new term on campus. He gives Kate an "imaginative" tour of what to expect at the event, and how his own work will be on display. See more information, on WKCTC's website.

The Paducah School of Art opens the exhibition “Howard Finster Vision House Touring Exhibit” at the Clemens Fine Arts Center Gallery at West Kentucky Community and Technical College this evening.  The show’s curator, David Leonardis owns a Chicago  gallery with contemporary, pop and folk art, photography and late 19th and early 20th century French lithographs.
