  New members of the Delta Regional Authority’s Leadership Advisory Council include Chris Wooldridge of the Murray State University Small Business Development Center. The Delta Leadership Advisory Council aims to bring together representatives from the 8 states in the DRA to promote economic development projects that will help create and retain jobs. Wooldridge was elected by fellow Delta Leadership Network members in Kentucky and confirmed by Delta Regional Authority leadership to serve a one-year term.

  Chris Wooldridge of the Murray State University Small Business Development Center has joined the Foundation for Kentucky Industry board of directors. FKI is a statewide nonprofit with the goal of strengthening the manufacturing industry. FKI’s Board of Directors is comprised of manufacturing, education, economic development and public policy leaders. Project and program partners include Lightweight Innovations For Tomorrow (or LIFT), JPMorgan Chase, Kentucky Federation of Advanced Manufacturing Education.

A new half-million dollar microloan program is seeking small businesses and entrepreneurs in the region. Marta Elliot, Purchase Area Development District Business Lending Director, and Chris Wooldridge, District Director of Murray State's Small Business Development Center, have partnered to bring awareness of this new loan available from the Small Business Administration and speak about it with Kate on Sounds Good.
