Humphries Gains 20-Point Victory Over Hubbard

Nov 6, 2012

Republican Stan Humphries enjoyed a 20-point victory over Democrat Carroll Hubbard for the Kentucky first district senate seat. Humphries got 59.3 percent of the vote, and Hubbard got 40.7 percent. Voters chose Humphries over Hubbard in six of the seven counties in the first district. The Cadiz Republican won by the biggest margins in his home county of Trigg, and Calloway County. Humphries says he’ll continue the work done by former first district state Senator Ken Winters.
