Eugene Gloria is the author of three books of poems. His honors include a National Poetry Series selection, A Pushcart Prize, the 2013 Anisfield-Wolf Book Award and a Fulbright Research Grant. He teaches creative writing and English literature at DePauw University. Murray State University Professor of English Carrie Jerrell has received an Al Smith Individual Artist Fellowship from the Kentucky Arts Council. She is one of six writers chosen for demonstrating a high level of excellence and creativity in their literary ares careers.
