He's been involved in building design and energy-related teaching, research and outreach activities for over 35 years. On Sounds Good, Tracy sat down with Dr. Colliver to discuss ways to increase energy efficiency in homes, where Kentucky ranks in energy usage and how water conservation is connected to energy issues.

Mammoth Cave in Kentucky has become the first national park to be powered entirely with alternative fuel. That’s what the executive director of the Kentucky clean fuels coalition told state lawmakers in Frankfort Wednesday.

Sen Paul Opposes Alternative Energy Loan Program

US Senator Rand Paul says the federal energy department should stop its loan guarantee program for companies developing alternative energy products. The Kentucky Republican told Energy Secretary Steven Chu Tuesday some of the loans have gone to wealthy friends of President Obama and that raises questions about the whole program.
