Tennessee Man Sentenced for 2012 Manslaughter in Calloway Court

A Tennessee man charged with killing a woman in western Kentucky has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.  

Calloway Circuit Judge Dennis Foust handed down the sentence Monday to 56-year-old James Paul Cook of McLemoresville, Tennessee.  Cook was originally charged with wanton murder in the death of 37-year-old Desiree Moore of Puryear, Tennessee, but entered an Alford plea in November to a charge of manslaughter.
