Youth Vote #1
By Nicole Erwin
Murray, KY – With the 2008 presidential campaign underway, WKMS - through a partnership with Washington, DC affiliate WAMU - is taking a look at what some voters in the nation's capital are saying and thinking about the election. We begin with an overview of how young people are getting involved. WKMS reporter Nicole Erwin is spending the summer in Washington, and is one of five college interns from the Institute on Political Journalism working on the project. She files the first report in our series.
