Woman's Club Forum Tonight

Murray, KY – The Murray Woman's Club hosts a Legislative forum tonight, which features numerous candidates running for state and local political offices. The democratic candidates for U-S Senate and 1st district U-S Representative Bruce Lunsford and Heather Ryan, respectively, will attend. Their opponents, Republican incumbents Senator Mitch McConnell and Representative Ed Whitfield, do not plan to attend. In addition, both candidates for 1st District State Senate Republican Incumbent Ken Winters and Democratic challenger Carroll Hubbard have confirmed they will attend, as well as 12 of 13 candidates running for Murray city council. The forum will take place in the woman's clubhouse and is set to begin at 7 p-m. Prior to the forum, attendees can eat at a chili supper fundraiser for the organization. Both events are open to the public.
