Baptist Health has selected the chief operating officer of Wisconsin’s largest healthcare system as the Commonwealth network’s CEO.
Gerard Colman served as COO for the Aurora Health Care System for four years and has 25 years of health care industry experience.
Baptist Health Board of Directors chairman Allen Rudd said Colman’s initial objectives as CEO will be to learn about Baptist Health’s markets, mission and direction – and look for new opportunities for the system.
Colman will assume his new role on December 4. He replaces Steve Hanson, who departed in March.
