Winter Weather Advisory

Murray, KY – We have a winter weather advisory in effect from noon today until 9:00 tomorrow morning for Graves, Marshall, Calloway, Lyon, Trigg and Caldwell counties in western Kentucky. A powerful winter storm will move out of the plains states and into our area with snowfall this afternoon and early tonight. We could see 2 to 4 inches of snow across much of southern Illinois and western Kentucky with local accumulations of 4 to 6 inches possible along the Ohio River. The snow may mix with or change over to rain tonight closer to the Tennessee state line. This could make travel difficult in our region, so be prepared for slick roads and low visibility. Motorists are advised to take their time getting to their destination and be prepared for delays.
