Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Derby winning jockey Calvin Borel is jumping on board the state's gambling issue. Borel is helping the Kentucky Equine Education Project push for the video gambling machines at the state's horse racing tracks. The jockey who won the Derby this year and in 2007 and this year's Preakness is being featured in a radio and direct mail campaign. Governor Steve Beshear has ordered a special session beginning next Monday dealing with the state's budget and his gambling proposal, among other issues.
