We've met our autumn fundraising goal, thanks to a flurry of calls in the middle of All Things Considered, September 30. Angel Beelzebub (a very good dog!) made the final call to meet our goal of $110,000 in community support. Thank you to everyone who pledged, to our sustainers, to our renewing friends, to new members, to businesses underwriting, to our phone volunteers, to restaurants who donated food! It takes a community to make this public radio station work and you came together once again.
Thanks also to Greater Paducah Sustainability - Recycle Now for donating one tree for every pledge to be planted in our region. We're still counting that number, but it's safe to say it's a massive forest. We've ended a full day early, so we'll celebrate by returning to our regular programming schedule, uninterrupted. Pat yourselves on the back for the great work you've done. Thank you.

More live bands, award-winning documentaries, political debates, and local partnerships. We can also make this the shortest fundraiser yet!
Consider a sustaining membership to WKMS. So that your support - just like the radio you rely on – never lapses. You pick an amount that you want to give per month and set it to automatically renew, until you tell us to stop. You won’t get regular renewal letters, and you’ll get the pleasure of listening knowing that your membership is always up-to-date.
Not only will your gift add richness to our region’s cultural landscape, but you’ll help grow and protect our natural resources! This fall, Greater Paducah Sustainability will donate one tree to a state park for every donation we receive.
Thank you!
