Christian County, KY – Emergency management workers in Kentucky's Southern Pennyrile region are looking for more volunteers to help people who've been without electric power for over a week. The Kentucky New Era reports that the Pennyrile Regional Citizens Corps is seeking volunteers to help distribute food and water at three locations in Christian County. Food and water are available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Christian County at the Northwest, Westside and Crofton Volunteer Fire Departments. About 1,800 Pennyrile Electric customers in Christian County are still without power while 1,900 customers in Trigg County and 300 in Todd County are still waiting for services to be restored.
