US Senate Approves Funding for KY Projects

Washington D.C. – The U.S. House and Senate yesterday approved almost 15 million dollars in funding for several Kentucky infrastructure projects in their interior appropriations bill. The Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area will receive a little over 8 million dollars, and the Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge will receive 7 hundred and fifty thousand dollars to continue land acquisition. The bill will now go to President Obama for his signature.
