3:30pm: ALL CLEAR

Original Post:

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials say a 4-vehicle crash on US 62 in Marshall County is holding up traffic as crews work to contain a HAZMAT spill.

The incident involving a truck carrying diesel fuel occurred at the intersection of US 62 and Purchase Pkwy in Calvert City, Ky.

Calvert City Fire Dept. has the diesel spill from the ruptured saddle tank secured with brooms and absorbents.  KYTC says crews expect to have the spill clear in a few hours.

Two people were transported via EMS to hospital.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
