[Update: Video Added] Sounds Good Live Lunch: Red Ember Plays Halloween

Join us on Halloween for our next Sounds Good Live Lunch with Paducah-based indie folk band Red Ember. Formed in 2012, this eclectic band puts a focus on instrumentation and emotional vocal harmonies. 

Listen to their live performance in Studio B in the Noon Hour of Sounds Good on October 31. Murray State University Digital Media Services provided a live video stream.

Red Ember were WKMS Battle of the Bands 2014 semi-finalists. In 2013, they played at ROMP and recorded their first LP at King Sound Studio.

Matt Markgraf joined the WKMS team as a student in January 2007. He's served in a variety of roles over the years: as News Director March 2016-September 2019 and previously as the New Media & Promotions Coordinator beginning in 2011. Prior to that, he was a graduate and undergraduate assistant. He is currently the host of the international music show Imported on Sunday nights at 10 p.m.
