Two Tennessee men have been arrested in a same-sex prostitution sting operation in a Union City park.
Police Chief Perry Barfield says the department had been conducting undercover operations in and around Graham Park following numerous complaints of suspected activity involving solicitation of same-sex prostitution and illicit behavior.
He says plain-clothes officers and a variety of surveillance equipment were used in the operation. The result was two men arrested: Ernest Woodward, 45, is charged with sexual battery, forcible-fondling and prostitution; and Norman Barlow, age 70, is charged with indecent exposure, solicitation of prostitution and public indecency.
A third man in the park was arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession.
