Summertime weather is upon us, and Hopkinsville underwriter Bikes & Moore is helping listeners across the region enjoy the great outdoors in style. Owner Tim Moore says that it helps that all of the team members are riders themselves. They're passionate about bicycling, and have been since 1980 when the store first opened. Since then, there has been a lot of growth and change, but that commitment to building and serving the bicycling community has remained constant. Tim says "This area geographically provides such great roads and trails for bicycling. The missing piece was a shop that could provide the hardware to do it. That's what we're glad to be here for."
Their showroom has brands from Trek to Specialized. And for those looking for something a little more personal, they'll build a custom bike through Project One. You choose your model, components, paint and fit so that every detail matches your vision.
Bikes and Moore joined the WKMS underwriting family this past year. Tim says of their decision "Listeners to public radio are more in touch with what's going on the community. It's how I keep in touch, and it's a good way to reach out. That's why I want to be a part of it."
