Tuesday is the deadline in Kentucky to register to vote in the November 8 general election.
Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes says three-point-two million Kentuckians are already eligible to cast ballots.
“We have the largest statewide voter registration numbers we’ve seen - over 3.2 million Kentuckians,” she said. “I’d like to make us actually continue to see that grow, by reaching out the 30 percent of Kentuckians that aren’t registered.”
The secretary of state’s office launched online voter registration in March which has increased voter rolls.
As of September, registered Democrats in Kentucky outnumbered registered Republicans by nearly 374-thousand.
