Hopkinsville, KY – 40 years ago on US-41 East of Hopkinsville, a Truck Driver named Russell Thompson stopped to help a family in need. It turned out he was going to be an integral part in getting an expecting mother to the hospital. Kentucky New Era Editor Jennifer P. Brown received a letter a couple weeks back from Mr. Thompson seeking her help. He wants to know what happened to that family. Chad Lampe speaks with Brown about the story, and her search for answers.
