Trigg County, KY – The Trigg County Public Schools Superintendent Tim McGinnis is resigning after ten years at the helm. The Kentucky New Era reports McGinnis announced his retirement at a school board meeting late last night. This year the Trigg County School District achieved perfect scores under No Child Left Behind for the second consecutive year, making it one of the best performing districts in the region. McGinnis will remain at his post until June 30, 2010. The board will advertise for the position later this month and expect to fill it by April.
