Trigg County, KY – Trigg County School's officials began the search for a new superintendent last night. Current superintendent Tim McGinnis announced his retirement earlier this month. McGinnis and colleagues met with a Kentucky School Board Association official to discuss a timeline for the search. The school system will advertise the position starting next month and will accept applications until February 26th. Trigg County school system will also work to create a committee of teachers, principals and board members to review applicants. They will start interviews in April hopeful to sign a new superintendent by April 30th. McGinnis will remain at his post until June 30.
