Trigg County Judge Executive Hollis Alexander is seeking re-election in 2018.

Alexander said he is proud of the growth he has seen in the county during his first term including building upgrades and road improvements. He said if re-elected he wants to continue focusing on improving quality of life.

“One of my top focuses would be the quality of life we have in Trigg County here, public safety, and of course job development is a big thing for us right now,” said Alexander.

Alexander said Trigg County has already made progress in job creation through the Southwest Kentucky Economic Development Council with Christian and Todd Counties.

“We are now a part of that so I feel like the unity of those three counties and working as one and going with one large voice out to recruit jobs to our area is a win-win for everybody,” said Alexander.

Alexander said his accomplishments include partnerships with the City of Cadiz and garnering around $1 million in discretionary road funding.
