Motorists traveling to Nashville via Interstate 24 this Saturday should be on the lookout for delays and slowing traffic.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation says there will be a lane closure on I-24 eastbound at mile-marker 8 (Exit 8 to SR 237) to allow crews to work on bridge construction.
Motorists should plan to allow additional travel time or seek an alternate route if possible.
The construction is expected to last from 7 AM to 2 PM.
