A threat written on a Crittenden County High School restroom has prompted a heightened law enforcement presence there Thursday.
A student found the threat written on a bathroom wall Wednesday. The school was on lockdown between 10:30 a.m. and 12:40 a.m. yesterday while students were checked and lockers searched.
Superintendent Vince Clark says local law enforcement remains on campus as of Thursday morning. Upon entering the building, students were checked with metal detector wands and had their backpacks searched. An investigation is ongoing.
