Tennessee 8th District – Tennessee's 8th U.S. Congressional District Republican candidate Stephen Fincher has refused to debate Democratic opponent Roy Herron. Herron's campaign accepted a debate invitation from Memphis television station WREG. Herron campaign manager Brandon Puttbrese says the station notified them yesterday that the debate was canceled due to lack of response from Fincher. Fincher spokesman Paul Ciaramitaro has fired back, saying Fincher would not debate a man who has falsely accused him, and that "it's become clear there's nothing to debate." This response comes following an ad campaign that attacks Fincher.
