Take the WKMS Programming Survey
The WKMS Programming Survey 2013 is open for your feedback through the end of February. We want to hear from you, primarily about the programs added to our schedule last September when we debuted the new logo and “WKMS Sounds Good,” including the new program 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays--Sounds Good with Tracy Ross and Friends. The questionnaire is short and takes a few moments to complete.
Please take a moment to fill out our survey.
Since its debut in September, Sounds Good with Tracy Ross and Friends has involved more than two hundred interviewees from around our coverage area, talking about subjects ranging from politics to pet adoption with our monthly feature “Puppies Sound Good” second Wednesdays. You’ve also heard live music from the region on this program as well: Great Gatsby, Kala Dunn with Todd Hill and Scott Thile, Angela Moseley, the Marvelous Wonderettes and others.
Also in September we added Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! to the line-up Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Sundays at 5 p.m. and we moved Fresh Air to 3 p.m. weekdays. We moved Classical Encore to 5 to 7 a.m., 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sundays. We rearranged Sunday nights to accommodate a replay of This American Life at 6 p.m. We began a new practice of pre-empting the second airing of A Prairie Home Companion 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays for Concerts of the Paducah Symphony Orchestra the week following the live concerts in the Carson Center.
We look forward to hearing your thoughts on these changes and other elements of our services. Thank you!
