Summer Games Events Canceled Due to Heat
Paducah Parks officials have canceled the track and field portion of the Paducah Summer Games due to extreme heat. The events were set for Friday and Saturday. Temperatures are expected to rise above 100 degrees both days. The National Weather Service has issued a regional heat advisory tomorrow through Sunday. Two other events, a disc golf tournament and a cross river swim, will continue as planned Saturday.
