Student Charged with Bomb Threat

Paducah, KY – A Lone Oak High School student confessed today to making a bomb threat earlier this month. Nineteen year old Andrew McManus had originally reported finding a note written in a school restroom that said, "Bomb in L-O." Lone Oak Police closed and searched the school for three hours without finding anything. In the subsequent investigation, police arrested McManus on unrelated charges. In an interview today, McManus confessed to writing the bathroom note. He was arrested and charged with felony terroristic threatening. McManus remains in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
