Monday, February 23

Today we meet 2015 Grammy Award winning classical guitarist Jason Vieaux who performs next Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Madisonville Community College's Glema Mahr Center for the Arts.

We continue our survey of "how things are going" in our coverage region with a conversation with Henry County, Tennessee, Development Corporation CEO David Hamilton.

Tuesday, February 24

Murray State University Assistant Professor of Psychology Dr. Michael Bordieri visits with a look at broader topics around the central theme of understanding depression.

Black History Month Special: "Race and Fear" Are Americans afraid of black men? That's one of the issues at the heart of the national debate over the deaths of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Tamir Rice. This hour, we take a closer look at negative stereotypes about African American men, how those biases affect our justice system, and what we might be able to do about it.

Wednesday, February 25

We speak with JW Cleary, Vice President of Kentucky NCAAP in Paducah about recent efforts.

Debi Danielson of the Murray Art Guild talks about 2015 Visual Evidence exhibition, celebrating artistic developments of local artists and the Art of Caregiving show.

Thursday, February 26

We meet Racer Scholar Katherine Smith and learn about her research in human trafficking - how companies can identify trafficking in their supply chain and how consumers can be come aware of and help intervene in the issue.

We'll meet an international student attending Murray State University.

Friday, February 27

Dr. Rusty Jones stops by to preview the Murray Shakespeare Festival, starting March 3 with workshops and productions of Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet. See the festival schedule

Prior to that, he was a graduate and undergraduate assistant. He is currently the host of the international music show Imported on Sunday nights at 10 p.m.
