Snow Delays Dunlap Trial

By Chris Taylor

Smithland, KY – The winter weather has postponed jury selection scheduled today for the trial of Kevin Dunlap. Trigg Circuit Judge C.A. Woodall plans to use today's session to hear last-minute motions and requests from Commonwealth Attorney G.L. Ovey and defense attorney James Gibson. Woodall says now it could be up to a week before a jury can be selected. The Paducah Sun reports Dunlap will also be present at the Livingston County Justice Center. He's accused of murdering three Trigg County children and stabbing their mother in 2008.
