[Slideshow] Puppies Sound Good! Meet Valentino

A puppy up for adoption from the Humane Society of Calloway County came up to the WKMS studios today with Executive Director Kathy Hodge. Valentino is a black and white rat terrier/dachshund mix is estimated to be around 4 months old. He is very expressive and curious about everything, according to Hodge. He was found as a stray and turns out to be very sweet-natured around people - didn't mind being picked up and passed around by everyone at WKMS. His foster says he's housebroken, is doing well with house training and loves toys.

Todd Hatton hails from Paducah, Kentucky, where he got into radio under the auspices of the late, great John Stewart of WKYX while a student at Paducah Community College. He also worked at WKMS in the reel-to-reel tape days of the early 1990s before running off first to San Francisco, then Orlando in search of something to do when he grew up. He received his MFA in Creative Writing at Murray State University. He vigorously resists adulthood and watches his wife, Angela Hatton, save the world one plastic bottle at a time.
