A Short History of Apple Corps 'Sounds Good'

Janine Pohl, Wikimedia Commons

Tune in to Sounds Good Thursday, July 24 as guest host Todd Hatton takes us back to the 1960s for a look at Apple Corps. The label, founded by the Beatles, was a launching pad for artists like James Taylor and Badfinger as well as a source for the Fab Four's classic solo work. We'll prepare crisp facts and some sweet tunes in this music documentary.

Join us Thursday, July 24th at 11 a.m. for A Short History of Apple Corps, on Sounds Good!

Todd Hatton hails from Paducah, Kentucky, where he got into radio under the auspices of the late, great John Stewart of WKYX while a student at Paducah Community College. He also worked at WKMS in the reel-to-reel tape days of the early 1990s before running off first to San Francisco, then Orlando in search of something to do when he grew up. He received his MFA in Creative Writing at Murray State University. He vigorously resists adulthood and watches his wife, Angela Hatton, save the world one plastic bottle at a time.
