Murray, KY – Shawn Perry graduated Trigg County High School and Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota--then completed his graduate work at Illinois State University in Normal. He moved to Taiwan to teach after doing so with Murray State's English as a Second Language program. In Taiwan, Shawn met his wife to-be, then spent some time teaching in Australia, returning to Taiwan, to marry and start a family.
