September Underwriter Spotlight: Symphony Supply

One can hardly mention Paducah without thinking about quilts, locally- made art and the variety of musical talent. Whether a local bluegrass band or a Paducah Symphony Orchestra member, musicians are always in need of instruments and supplies.

Symphony Supply is the region's strings-only shop, renting and selling violins, violas, cellos and basses, as well as accessories and sheet music. Since 1996 they have rented highest quality string instruments to both individuals and area school systems. They also sell instruments for all sizes, ages and ability levels. Beginner or professional, one can find the perfect string instrument in their shop. As professional players and teachers, the staff can not only help select the right instrument but also offer lessons on how to play.

Symphony Supply's commitment to providing the highest quality instruments matches their love for the highest quality programming. They began underwriting with WKMS last month. Owner Patty Story is a longtime listener and says, "As the region's only violin shop, we feel WKMS is a match for us. We wanted to reach the audiences who have similar interests to what we have to offer, whether it's classical music or fiddle. It's important to support WKMS and we are glad to finally be part of the family." We are glad too!
