Frankfort, KY – New data released yesterday shows jobless rate in Kentucky reached 10.4 percent in September, up from 6.5 percent one year ago. However, Calloway County has the state's second lowest unemployment rate, at eight percent. Nationwide, the jobless rate is now 9.5 percent.
