Paris, TN – Tennessee U.S. Senator Bob Corker told a town hall gathering Wednesday that he hopes legislators in Washington will work toward a more moderate stance to health care reform when they returned from their August recess. The junior senator addressed a crowd of some 200 at the Henry County Courthouse. Corker says he is spending his recess on a 28-county listening tour of the state. The Paris Post Intelligencer reports the audience was well-behaved, in contrast to crowds elsewhere in the nation.
