Clarksville, TN – A mistake made by an engineer in Clarksville could end up costing the city several hundred thousand dollars. The city's expansion of Peachers Mill Road was being overseen by DBS and Associates. The company underestimated many aspects of the project. Assistant Street Department Director Tommy Murphy says DBS has taken some responsibility for this error. Murphy informed the city's Finance and Administration Committee of the mistake on Tuesday. He hopes funds can be shifted from a different Street Department project. The Committee has not made a final decision on either plan.
