Road Closures for BBQ on the River and Old Market Days Festivals

Paducah, KY – To allow for the setup and enjoyment of the Barbeque on the River and Old Market Days Festivals, several roads will be closed in downtown Paducah. Please note that all streets are subject to early closure due to safety reasons as determined by the Paducah Police Department. The schedule of road closures is as follows:
Closing Tuesday, September 20
Water Street from Broadway toward Schultz Park floodwall entrance at
Broadway remains open
Sections of the Municipal Parking Lot
Closing Wednesday, September 21
Kentucky Avenue at 3rd Street
2nd Street at Broadway
Jefferson Street at 3rd Street
Madison Street at 3rd Street
Monroe Street at 3rd Street
Closing Thursday, September 22
Water Street at Washington
Kentucky Avenue entrance to riverfront
Broadway at 3rd Street
Kentucky Avenue and 2nd Street
The festivals last through Saturday, September 25. The intersections at Broadway and 4th Street and Broadway and 5th Street may be closed at some times during the festivals.
Shuttle service will be provided from Carson Park Thursday and Friday, 4:00-10:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. The shuttle will take festival goers from Carson Park to a drop off point near the National Quilt Museum.
Handicap parking is located behind the Finkel's building.
