Renee Montagne Part 2
By Bryan Bartlett
Murray, KY – NPR's Morning Edition has started a multi-part series on Afghanistan. The series is generated from co-host Renee Montagne's recent travels there. Those reports examine the police force, courts and national army to find out whether those institutions can be dependable building blocks for Afghanistan as it builds its democracy. WKMS News Director Bryan Bartlett spoke to Montagne about her third trip to the region since the Allied invasion in 2001.
