Reidland-Farley Trustees Meet Tonight
By Chris Taylor
Paducah, KY – Reidland-Farley Fire District trustees are expected to discuss a variety of issues at their meeting this evening. Included in the agenda is what to do with a new quarter-million dollar fire and rescue boat the district prematurely purchased prior to receiving grant funds for the boat. The board may also consider hiring a private accounting firm to keep its books, as it reviews the district's bills totaling over three hundred thousand dollars. The board is expected to decide which of those bills it will pay with the $80,000 it has in its bank account. According to the Paducah Sun, tonight's meeting is open to the public beginning at 7:00pm at the Reidland fire station.
