Racers Score Record Setting Victory Over KY Wesleyan

Murray, KY – The Murray State Racers set a new school record for points scored in a season opener with a solid 66 to 10 victory over the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers last night at Stewart Stadium.

The Racers ran for 170 yards and passed for 146 yards. Murray State's defense forced four turnovers and held the Panthers to just 12 yards passing.

The Racers return to action on the road September 12th to take on North Carolina State. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. (central) at Carter-Finley Stadium.
