Racer Football, Basketball Mid-October Update with Neal Bradley

Tab Brockman, goracers.com

Voice of the Racers Neal Bradley talks Racer Football and Basketball with Tracy Ross on Sounds Good. They discuss some of the recent games played by the Football team, namely the stunning homecoming win against Southeast Missouri and predictions against Austin Peay. Bradley also takes a look at the Basketball schedule.

The Saturday, October 4th game against Tennessee Tech looked good for the Racers if you were to cover the score, Neal Bradley says, they played well and lost in overtime 30-27. This will hurt them at the end of the season if they find themselves one win away. The Racers got some redemption last Saturday against Southeast Missouri, in a stunning double overtime win 44-41.  A thrilling game, Bradley says, the Racer offense did well the entire game.

Currently at the midpoint in the season, Racers are sitting 2-4. They are in a good position to win the Austin Peay game this Saturday. Austin Peay has young players and struggles offensively, but Bradley says when it comes to Austin Peay, you never know what could happen.

Bradley also previews the Racers Basketball schedule, naming some highlights, particularly the November 14 game against Houston the November 24 game against Xavier.
