Quinn Warns Blagojevich, Impeachment Coming
By Jacque Day
Illinois – Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn is warning Governor Rod Blagojevich that he's on his way to being impeached by the Illinois House, convicted in the State Senate and removed from office. Quinn says he believes that's what will happen to Blagojevich, and the governor should adjust his conduct accordingly. The lieutenant governor says Blagojevich can't give full attention to his job running the state, and that he's lost the confidence of the people of Illinois. Blagojevich has said he won't resign and will fight the charges against him.
